Warp knitted fabrics are our most commonly used fabrics. There are two types of warp knitted fabrics: single-sided and double-sided. Single-side warp knitted fabrics are woven in a single-bed warp knitting machine, where one side of the fabric is composed of loops, while the other side is distributed with the extension threads of the loops. Double-sided warp knitted fabrics are woven in a double-bed warp knitting machine. Both sides of the fabric are composed of loops, and the extension lines of the loops are in the loops on both sides.
The formation method, structure, and performance characteristics of warp knitted fabrics, can be divided into several categories.
Jacquard warp knitted fabric: electronic or mechanical jacquard device respectively controls the number of stitches in the traverse of each yarn (partial weft insertion yarn, pressing yarn, loop-forming yarn, etc.) of the full width of the warp knitting machine, The warp knitted fabric with pattern patterns such as thick, thin, sparse holes or protrusions are formed on the surface of the fabric. Such as window screens, tablecloths, sofa backs and armrests, bedspreads, and decorative clothing fabrics.
Multi-comb warps knitted fabric: a knitted fabric made of one or several groups of warp yarns woven into circles and interlocked on a warp knitting machine at the same time. In such a knit, each yarn of a set of warp yarns forms only one or two stitches in a course and then forms stitches in the next course. The loops formed by one yarn are arranged along the warp direction of the knitted fabric. Such as clothing lace, multi-comb curtains, and fashion fabrics.
Industrial mesh warp knitted fabrics: such as construction protective nets, agricultural protective nets, military concealed nets, shade nets, etc.
Oriented warp knitted fabrics: such as geogrids, lightbox fabrics, coated base fabrics, helmets, body armor, wind power blades, and reinforced skeleton materials for an aircraft fuselage, etc.
Double-needle bed plush fabric: sofa fabric, car seat fabric, toy fleece, acrylic blanket, cotton blanket, artificial fur, carpet, etc.
Warp-knitted spacer fabrics: such as replacements for laminates, reinforcement structures for composite materials, sportswear, safety clothing and filters in the medical field, etc.
Double-needle bed tubular fabrics: such as elastic bandages, packaging bags, pantyhose, gloves, briefs, artificial blood vessels, etc.
